About Don't Watch MeDon't Watch Me is a woman-founded American business, backed by 16 years of combined experience in the manufacture of Cubicle Curtains, Draperies, Window Toppers, and Bedspreads.Our Mission To become the leading provider of bedroom and bathroom Privacy Curtains for children across the United States and worldwide. Company Profile The company was originally founded in 1999 by Mary Sykes as a store front selling to her friends and neighbors. In 2001, the business had grown to a countywide concern and she brought Gerald McBride in as Chief Financial Officer and venture capital. By the beginning of 2003, the demand had grown so much that she had employees and had to move the manfuacturing and warehousing to a much larger facility. Also in the beginning of 2003, she and Gerald had decided to go worldwide via the internet and e-commerce and, after careful consideration of many candidates she brought in Sean Carroll as Chief Technical Officer to handle the e-commerce side of the business. There is still only the one small store front and the majority of the business is being moved to the internet.
