WELCOME TO PAIN AND TRAUMA ASSESSMENT NETWORK - PTAN®
The Pain and Trauma Assessment Network - PTAN® is a subsidiary of The International
Mental Health Network, the IMH-Network. PTAN® was founded in 1996, as an international
organization dedicated to provision of professional services in the areas of stress-related
clinical disorders, personal, industrial, and psychological injuries, and posttraumatic stress
disorder.
Membership in PTAN® is available to professionals from various areas of medicine,
psychiatry, behavioral sciences, and law.
Two types of services are available through PTAN®: direct and indirect. Direct services
are provided by PTAN to both the members and the non-members. They include the clinical
assessment services, electronic mental health library, literature review, research, and
publications. Indirect services are provided by PTAN's members individually, also other PTAN members,
as well as to the general public.
Services provided by individual PTAN members are based on their qualifications and
experience in the various areas of trauma-related disorders. They are subject to local, state
and federal USA laws and regulations specific to the profession and licensure of the
individual(s) rendering such service(s). Requests for services from the individual PTAN®
members should be addressed directly to the specific member(s) either via e-mail, by phone,
fax, or in writing. PTAN® does not assume neither direct, nor inherent responsibility and
liability for legitimacy, quality, and accuracy of the services rendered by individual members.
All business, financial, and legal arrangements for rendering of services by individual
PTAN® members must be made directly between the individual(s) requesting, and individual(s)
rendering service(s).
