MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION



At present, PTAN® is accepting applications for membership from various areas of professional work such as psychology, psychiatry, social work, medicine, public health, law, and forensics.

Members of PTAN® are selected on the basis of their education, knowledge, professional training, expertise, achievements and experience in the areas of trauma-related disorders, personal and industrial injury, psychological injury, physical and sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and workman's compensation.

Institutions and individuals interested in joining PTAN® are requested to submit materials as outlined in the Registration section. Only applications accompanied by all supplementary materials shall be considered. All applications are reviewed by PTAN Executive Board each month, and new memberships are approved and posted within 30 days from the date of application.

It is our policy to encourage all PTAN® members to be available to each other for exchange of information, consultations, referrals, and other areas of mutual interest. We believe that through communication and collaboration of its members, as a scientific platform, PTAN® can help facilitate significant contributions to behavioral and social sciences, medicine, law, and other related areas. We hope that the benefits of this endeavor will be dedicated to the constant improvement of the clinical process, and to the patients as its ultimate beneficiaries.
